Ever since Justice League bombed at the box office and the DC fans came to know about ‘The Snyder Cut’, they have been clamouring for Zack Snyder to release his version of the Justice League.

For starters, Zack Snyder was replaced by Joss Whedon due to some family issues in the former's life.

However, the fans got big news in the form of an HBO Max tweet followed by Zack Snyder himself retweeting HBO Max’s tweet.

Prior to that, Zack Snyder had organized a screening of Man of Steel and Henry Cavill was also a member of the watch party. At the very end of the party, Snyder announced that The Snyder Cut would be coming out on HBO Max in 2021.

After the failure of Justice League and all the criticism it received, fans started protesting online using the hashtag #ReleasetheSnyderCut, and it seems their prayers have finally been answered after waiting for two-and-a-half years.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Zack Snyder implied that what the moviegoers experienced in the theatres was just 1/4th of what his cut would include, meaning that almost 75% of The Snyder Cut will be unseen footage.

It is also being reported that the release could either be a four-hour-long director’s cut or a six-episode, or rather six-chapter show.

After a painfully long wait, the impossible is finally happening. Zack Snyder will now be looking forward to reassembling their post-production crew to score, cut, add new, and finish old visual effects. He could even possibly bring back some of the actors to have some additional dialogues.

Being a big DC fan myself, I have been a wholehearted fan of the idea of The Snyder Cut being released, so there is definitely a lot of excitement.

The time has finally come for Zack Snyder’s efforts to be rewarded. Justice has been served.
