If you want to take a short break from the noisy & chaotic streets of Mumbai then you can totally rely on a cup of chai which you will find each & everywhere on the streets of Mumbai. Chai on a Mumbai's street are brewed quite strong then followed by loads of milk and seasoned with cardomom, masala & ginger to give it an extra flavour. I know Dosa is originally originated from South-India but as I told you earlier streets of Mumbai serves you everything. Dosa is the most common street food of Mumbai which you will find in different flavours, ingredients, styles & fusions. Dosa is basically a batter of rice & urad bean flour which is lightly fermented, and then fried on a hot circular plate in a thin crepe like shape. Once it’s golden and crispy on the bottom, any number of fillings can be added to the center. The traditional version is the masala dosa, where masala potatoes are added to the dosa, and it’s served with sambhar and coconut chutney on the side. But in Mumbai you will find it in different fusions for example Chinese Dosa or a Pasta Dosa and even Manchurian Dosa.
