I strongly believe our lives are incomplete without our furry friends who bring joy and unconditional love to our lives, they show us how to love unconditionally, how to trust and be loyal and most importantly, they teach us how to be selfless. Here are five movies that perfectly showcase the golden bond between a pooch and his human.

1) The Art Of Racing In The Rain: This movie revolves around a race car driver and his faithful furry friend. They take on life together and embark upon adventures as they explore the happiness and sadness that revolves around life. The movie is made from the perspective of a Golden Retriever, Enzo as he watches his owner progress through life.

2) Marley And Me – Is a happy tale of a rowdy puppy, Marley who is adopted by a newlywed couple. The movie tells the tale of this puppy and the bond that he creates with the couple. The movie beautifully encapsulates the individual bond that the puppy creates with both of them and their struggles. It shows the characters grow and transform into the beautiful family and the role that Marley plays in the lives of the couple and their children.

3) Hotel For Dogs –Is a family comedy film based on Lois Duncan's 1971 novel of the same name. It is a Nickelodeon classic featuring Jake T Austin and Emma Roberts. The film revolved around the sibling duo and their pet, Friday. It shows the struggles that the siblings go through to raise and provide for their dog after their parent's demise. The duo is shown to be living in foster care where their dog isn’t welcome. Their journey soon turns into a mission to save other street dogs in need.

4) Dog Days – Is fun but emotional watch that revolves around 5 dogs and their owners, an Anchorwoman, A Football star, A barista and An NGO worker. It is a fun tale of blended love between dogs and their owners and the challenges of life. The movie is beautifully connected by dogs and their intertwined lives with their owners.

5) Marmaduke – Is a movie on the life of a great Dane named Marmaduke who’s owners downsize from to a new house. He’s a lovable “big” dog who kind of is a misfit with all the other dogs in the dog park. Marmaduke is basically like a new kid trying to desperately adjust to the new ways of life .
