Tokyo Ghoul is a blazingly dark anime however, if you find it too gory to watch you can switch to the censored version of it to enjoy the story anyways. Plot set in times when Tokyo is invaded by ghouls- terrifying creatures feeding on human flesh, who can transform themselves to look humanly. Story revolves around Ken Kaneki dragged into the inhuman world, gets attacked and transforms into half ghoul, half human-hybrid and is forced to adapt to their lifestyle in order to survive.
