All You Need To Know About The Ram Mandir Bhoomi Pujan Event
|By- Alok Parekh|
After decades, recently a decision has been taken to build the Ram Mandir. The issue is now expected to have come to an end. The decision of conducting the Bhoomi Pujan on 5th August, 2020 has been made. A lot of preparations for conducting the ceremony are already done, while the remaining ones have begun and soon, nothing will be left. Several politicians and certain members of the committees’ related to the construction of Ram Mandir only are permitted to attend the Pujan.
On this remarkable occasion of the Pooja, holy waters from various religious places from all over the country are collected. The places included were Triveni Sangam at Prayagraj, Kamakhya temple in Assam, Kaveri River at Talakaveri and many more. In addition to the holy waters, soil from several such places like Gurudwaras, Jain and Hindu Temples, Sharada Peeth (Pakistan) and the four pilgrimage locations of Char Dham was also sent as blessings for the temple.
The new dimensions of the temple will be 300 feet long, 280 feet wide and 160 feet high. The motive behind these modifications is to have more room inside the Temple complex which will now consist of a lecture hall, a learning center or a school, visitors’ hostel, residence for saints and a few lavish facilities like museum and a cafeteria.
Saddening news is that only 200 people are allowed to attend the ceremony due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. As a result, only some of the main and important people related to the construction will be present during the Puja. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, LK Advani, and many others like Home Minister Amit Shah, defense minister Rajnath Singh along with 15 members of “Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust” will show their presence on 5th August, 2020.
