Some days ago, I was too bored to do anything and suddenly some thoughts started racing through my mind. Talking about two of the most important ones for me, one was something related to my career, and the other related to meeting my friends. For a change, I was totally unaffected by these and something else popped up inside my head immediately as a notification appeared on my laptop screen. Any wild guess what it was about? The notification was about playing one of my most favourite games ‘Super Mario Bros’ online.

This wasn’t just a notification, but it came with various childhood memories and made me quite a bit emotional. The pop up was just about one game, but it reminded me of many more from that era, some of which many of us play even today irrespective of our age. As I got reminded of these games, I thought of writing an article about it. With this, two things will happen. One, all the teenagers who have forgotten about these games, will again think about them and second, all of us will relive those amazing childhood moments that we have missed for so long. Having said this, I know that all of you are very eager and excited to read about those special and close-to-heart games. So, without any further ado, I will now talk about 7 of those games.

1. Tetris:

Tetris is one of those games that I have spent most time playing. I felt very good when all those various, colourful patterns descended on my screen. Fitting those shapes perfectly in the vacated areas and focussing on completely filling the lines with these tetrominoes were the only two, but the most attention-seeking tasks. I have played the game a lot of times in my childhood and I still do play. And I am very sure most of y’all would also want to control those different shapes once again with the same concentration. So, here is the link to download the game on your device. https://softfamous.com/tetris/

2. Road rash:

Road rash is one another game that I miss playing a lot. It was probably the best racing game I could play then. The violent and illegal racing game has had countless fans from I think every corner of the Globe as kids throughout the world have always cherished playing the game.

Can anyone guess what the best part was for me in the entire game? Many of you must have guessed it correctly as it would have been your favourite part too. Yeah, kicking the competitor adjacent to you was just amazing. Once again, I am sure most of y’all want to kick your opponents. Here is the link from where you can download the game. https://softfamous.com/road-rash/

3. Pacman:

Pacman was the game that I haven’t played much, but whenever I played, it was nothing else but fun. The aim to eat away all the dots in the maze without being hit by Blinky (red), Pinky (pink), Inky (cyan) and Clyde (orange) ghosts was the only but difficult part. Avoiding these ghosts wasn’t very easy as sometimes they appeared from nowhere. Recently, I again played the game and was surprised to see that even after the developer was different, the patterns and styles within the game were same as they were earlier. 4. Counter Strike:

(Courtesy: techwrath.com.au) Counter Strike is that game with which I was not very good while playing, but my friends taught me how to play it correctly and how to defeat the opposite gang members. I don’t know why but I never chose to be Counter terrorist. Maybe it was just fun. Maybe I didn’t like the colour of their clothes. I really don’t remember the reason, but I never wanted to become a member of the CT forces. In the game, my favourite maps were ‘dust’ and ‘awp’. It was only because of ‘awp’ map that I learnt to properly use the snipers. Talking about ‘dust’, I liked the areas included in that map and I had played it so many times that I was thorough about which side of the map takes me where. 5. Cricket 07:

(Source: eaglegamerteams.blogspot.com) This was one of the best games given by EA Sports. A very special and preferred by the cricket fans, Cricket 07 was my one of my favourite games too. The most hilarious part was the names that the team members were given. Another thing that I liked was we could add new players with our name in the team. At least once it has given all of us the feeling of playing for our favourite teams. Another thing many of my friends wonder why I like, is bowling. Yes, I prefer bowling over batting. I love to try various tricks and turns with the ball. To download the game, click on the following link. https://eaglegamerteams.blogspot.com/2018/08/ea-sports-cricket-2007-free-download.html

6. Super Mario bros:

This game is very close to my heart as I have played this the maximum number of times. Apart from this, it was this game’s notification that reminded me of these games and made me think of my amazing, tense-free childhood. For many people, the best part of this game would have been shooting the ducks and other creatures to gain points. But for me, it was jumping on them and killing them. Specially, jumping on the ducks so that their shells kept on moving in opposite directions was the best part. Having powers to shoot and resist any monster was secondary happiness for me. 7. Grand Theft Auto Vice City:

Grand Theft Auto Vice City, commonly known as GTA Vice City is till date my favourite game. If given an option to play any of the above mentioned games or this game, I would without any doubt choose to play GTA. More than doing any missions, I just like to roam in the two cities- new city and the old city. Moreover, I like to do police and taxi missions so that I can explore new areas that I have never been to. Talking about other important missions, I loved to do ‘The Demolition Man’ mission and ‘The Guardian Angels’ where I had to blast a building by helicopter bombing and save Diaz respectively. To again relive the life of Tommy Vercetti, click on the following link and download the game. https://grand-theft-auto-vice-city.en.softonic.com/ All the above were my favourite games. Were there any of your favourites that I have missed? Let us know in the comments section below. Let us all become a child again and just enjoy. After all, that is also important in our busy and not very tension-free lives.
